I’m Mavita Sayal Robinson, an artist and designer whose love for creativity began at the age of four, when I first picked up a paintbrush.

Over the years, that love for art grew into a passion for design, eventually leading me to the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). My experiences at SCAD and exposure to different cultures, places, and creative perspectives shaped the way I see and approach art and design today.

Now, my creative practice brings together both sides of that journey.

Through Designs by Mav, I create original artwork and custom paintings inspired by the people, places, and stories that make life meaningful. My design work allows me to explore branding, visual storytelling, and creative communication, while painting gives me the freedom to slow down, experiment, and create something deeply personal.

Whether I’m designing or painting, I’m drawn to work that feels thoughtful, personal, and full of character.
